This is me

For me a good invention is the diary. It helps you a lot if you are a clueless person and it's hard for you to remember if you have homework or exams. Also, the diary makes your mind more organizated because you might write all the things that you have to do in it. However, if you are a person who cannot live without an agenda (like me) becareful not to lose it because probably you'll have a big problem.

Oscar Fingal O'Flahertie Wills Wilde, more known as Oscar Wilde, was born on October 16, 1854 and he died on November 30, 1900.  He was an Irish poet and playwright. After writing in different forms throughout the 1880s, he became one of London's most popular playwrights in the early 1890s. He is best remembered for his epigrams and plays, his novel The Picture of Dorian Gray .  Wilde's parents were successful Anglo-Irish intellectuals in Dublin . Their son became fluent in French and German early in life. At university, Wilde read Greats ; he proved himself to be an outstanding classicist, first at Trinity College Dublin , then at Oxford . He became known for his involvement in the rising philosophy of aestheticism , led by two of his tutors, Walter Pater and John Ruskin . After university, Wilde moved to London into fashionable cultural and social circles. 

I have a lot of fears, for example, I'm afraid of spiders, snakes, rats, terrifying clowns, etc. Well, I'm afraid of all the tipical terrifying things of the most famous horror films.  When I was a child, the thing that I scared the most was the different rules of the actor called Johnny Deep. For example, the character of Eduardo manostijera, the clown of Alice in Wonderland, etc. It's funny because all of them are good characters and not bad, but I don't know, I think that it's for the way that they smile.

MY STORY Harry was the best friend that anyone could have. It all started when we were travelling in Africa last summer. We saw him at the hotel's party. At first, Harry didn't seem a serious boy, but the following day we discovered his real personality. Meanwhile we were in the jungle, we saw an aggressive lion. "It's going to attack us", the girls were crying. "We should run away because the lion is starving" We all were going by car and Harry was driving it. Suddenly, the car stopped and my friend Alice fell out of the car. Everybody was nervous and extremely scared. However, Harry kept calm and told us not to worry because he had his powers. He made that a lot of snakes appear out of the blue, attack the lion and kill it with their poison. In the end, only Harry knew how to control his powers. Moreover, thanks to him, we are all alive.

Tom Odell Thomas Peter Odell, more known as Tom Odell, is an English singer-songwriter that he was born on November 24th of 1990, in Chichester, England. His father is an airline pilot and his mother is a primary school teacher. He had a relationship with Taylor Swift but they didn't marry and they didn't have any children. He extended his debut play, from ''Another Love'' in 2012, he won the BRIT's Critic Choice Award in 2013. I like Tom Odell because I like the way that he sings and his songs are amazing in my opinion. His genres are ''Indie pop'' and ''Folk pop''.

I live in a city called Figueres. It's a small town with 45.000 habitants approximately living there. Figueres is the capital of the Alt Empordà. This town is famous for the Dalí's Museum and always there are a lot of foreign people who are visiting it. The truth is that the museum is very beautiful, both inside and outside. The time here is mediterranean style and the most famous fenomenon is called "La Tramuntana" that it's a very strong wind.

I'm an optimist and pessimist person depending on the day or depending on the situation. For example, if I'm sad or angry about something, I always try to think positive and I tell myself that everything will be fine. Sometimes, and I don't know why, I'm a pessimist person and I think negative all the time. 

I think that we are living faster, I'm talking about technological advances and the most people who nowadays don't enjoy the moment and want to live very faster without realizing it. The question is, Are we living better? Talking about technological advances, it depends, because we are creating more and more new things, and I said "it depends" because not all these advances hurt us, but many of them yes and they make us not live well. 

In my house there are a lot of problems and discussions with my parents every day for dumb things. Sometimes they have to remind me to do some things, for example, lay the table, pick up the clothes, pick up the dishwasher, etc. When I don't remember doing it, it's because I'm listening to music or with the mobile phone. For example: Mum: Marina, don't forget to lay the table! Marina: Yes, I'm coming. 5 minuts later… Mum: Marina!!  Marina: Ups! Sorry!

My best friend Sara. Sara Pijuan is my best friend and she has 15 years old. She was born the 29th of September in 2003 in Figueres, Catalunya, Spain.  She is short and she has long brown wave hair. She has big brown eyes, a round nose and a cute smile on her mouth.  Sara is a nice person who I know since I was 3 years old. Always we have been a good friends and we still are at the moment. Every time that we meet, we always laugh about anything and this is wonderful. She really likes dance, in fact, she dances in the Dance Me Academy. She also likes read some book, listen to music, etc.    

Language assistants In the English class we have two language assistants, one of them is called Mack and the other Tilly. Mack is a boy who likes Spain a lot and things of there for example the food. He also enjoys read, listen to music, watch movies and play the guitar. Tilly is a girl, is lovely too, she likes theater a lot, in fact she has participated in some, and she also loves to sing.

PRESENTATION My name is Marina and I'm 15. I'm studying 4th of ESO in Narcís Monturiol highschool. In the future, I would like to continue studying, but I still don't know what to choose. In my free time I like to listen to music, watch TV, meet with my friends, read, etc. I usually listen to pop, 80s rock and reggeaton. Some of my favourites singers are Post Malone, Tom Odell and C.Tangana. One of the songs of my childhood is Everywhere of Fleetwood mac, I liked it a lot and I still like. My favourite series are 13 reasons why, Las chicas del cable, Castle and Merlí. But the one I like the most is Stranger Things. And my favourite films are Pitch Perfect, Nerve, Back to the future, etc. The kind of books that I read is of love, the book that I like the most of the moment are those of the saga After. I'm a really fan of the youtuber Auronplay because he makes me laugh a lot and he expresses very well.
